Sapna was born in the village of Sunai, Uttar Pradesh. She graduated from the Chaudhary Chran Singh University in Meerat. Sapna’s story is one of dedication and perseverance. She began working in the call center at Pardada Pardadi Educational Society (PPES) in 2012. To apply for the job, she had to convince her father and brothers that her education was worth using. At this time, she spoke almost no English. In order to improve her English she created a daily routine of studying, reading the newspaper, writing in her diary, and surfing the internet. She also overcame her shyness with foreigners and made an effort to befriend and learn from the volunteers at PPES. In 2014, she was promoted to secretary in the Community Development Center. She joined this project as a translator and has quickly become an indispensable member of the team.
